Default audio+data

sponsored links
I have a CD containing some data files(HTML) and some audio files(Wav/MP3). I do not know the exact format (sector mode etc)in which data is stored on it. I have to make a reader+player for this CD using a microcontroller. So can the audio be played simply by giving ATAPI command 'play audio MSF' or do I have to get the data byte by byte and send it to the DAC from the microcontroller.

Do not double post, post only in one forum. You cannot use 'play audio MSF' since it is a command for Audio CDs (CDDA tracks).
