I recieved my Lite On 481248 speed burner today. I installed it and turned on my computer. Well when I got into windows I pressed the eject button but the tray wouldn't open, it would try to though. So i used the emerency eject button to open it, but when i got it open all the way it wouldn't close. Not even if i used a little force. grrrrrr....Hope I didnt void the warrenty! Has anyone else had a Lite On Dead on Arrival? Think that I voided the warrenty? It was broke before I even installed it.

The manual eject is there to be used, so using it won't void your warranty.
Check that you have the power cable properly connected as it sounds like the buner isn't powered.

If the power connection is good then remove the burner, pack it up & take it back for a replacment.
