Question What CD-Rs to use to burn PS2 games?

sponsored links
Hey I know that it has to have a blue bottom but can I use any old brand without knacking the laser or do I have to use a name brand blue bottom. I know that Memorex and Imation are not good and that Verbatim is the best but they are too expensive. Can I use like Office Max brand or Precision (both not name brand). Thanx.

On my old ps2 that had neo 2.2 installed that i used A/Replay to boot the cdrs i always used Verbatim Data Life Plus(Real dark blue bottoms) i was led to believe that they were better for your laser, boot easier, quieter, etc, etc and i found that they usually were.
But when i sold that ps2 and got a new V7 with magic 2 it would not boot the verbs very well at all it took a few attempts,so after trying a few brands of cdr i found that the Traxdata discs booted first time every time and are quiet cheap £4 for 25.
Do not really buy cdrs much now as you can get the ps2 dvdrs pretty cheap on bst.
