Default mepg & DVix to DVDr HOW?

A friend of mine wants me to covert theses formats into dvd video so he can watch them on his tv through a dvd player.

Can this be done ?

TMPGEnc is your best bet for both m8 to convert to MPEG2 then use something like Ulead movie factory or workshop to make your dvd but for the Divx i would rip the sound of first using virtualDub then join them together again using TMPGEnc

For MPEG2 encoding, I would as always suggest CCE. As for the DivX (assuming that is what you meant), what container format is it in? AVI? MKV? OGM? MP4?

For the MPEG, you may be able to get away without re-encoding or only re-encoding the audio.

I would suggest that you have a search/look around the forum.
