My unit has 7 burners.I can run 1 burner up to 7.The new Wytron controller will handle 9 burners.And as for the needing a hard drive.Most people create the "MASTER"on the pc burner.Then use that to make duplicates!This is,as far as I am concerned the easiest,and best way.You are better off making the master first,so you do not waste 7 dvdrs with a glitch in the original.You just rip,decrypt,burn the disc,just as you were making a single backup on your pc.Then,after checking the results,put the master you just made in the dvd-rom drive.Then load the burners with blanks,push go,and that's it!Actually you don't even have to push go on all units.
