The following guide shows you how to rip DVD to iPad video and convert video to iPad using iPad Converter Suite. And it is divided into two parts:

[b]Part 1. How to Rip DVDs to iPad Using DVD to iPad Converter[/b] [img]***********[/img]

[b]Step 1.[/b] Launch DVD to iPad Converter and Add DVD Movie

Click the "DVD to iPad Converter" button to launch DVD to iPad Converter.


Insert the DVD into your DVD drive and click the "Load DVD" button to import the DVD Movie.

[b]Tips:[/b] This DVD to iPad Converter can load three DVD sources. You can load your DVD from DVD drive, DVD folder in your PC and also IFO file.

[b]Step 2.[/b] Output Settings

Extend the "Profile" list at the bottom of the interface to choose the output format. There are three presets for Apple iPad: iPad MPEG-4 Video(*.mp4), iPad H.264 Video(*.mp4) and iPad H.264 720p Video(*.mp4).

If you want to customize the output video, you can click the "Settings" button next to the "Profile field" to open the Settings window and set video resolution, frame rate, bit rate, encoder, etc. See the figure below:

After making all necessary settings, press the "Start" button to start converting DVD to iPad.

[b]Step 4.[/b] Transfer Output Video to iPad

Connect your iPad to PC and transfer the output video files to your iPad with the sych of the iTunes library.

[b]Part 2. How to Convert Video to iPad Using iPad Video Converter[/b]

Click the "iPad Video Converter" button to launch iPad Video Converter. Import video files stored on your PC by clicking the "Add File" button. The other steps are the same as those of ripping DVD to iPad video.

H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second, Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format

The Audio Formats Supported by iPad Include

HE-AAC (V1), AAC (16 to 320 Kbps), Protected AAC (from iTunes Store), MP3 (16 to 320 Kbps), MP3 VBR, Audible (formats 2, 3, and 4), Apple Lossless, AIFF, and WAV
