Default Seriously dont have a clue

i have a packard bell easynote laptop and recently i bought a new ipod nano but soon as i installed itunes my cd drive got a code 41 but i tried entering registry editor but all that comes up is a black box which soon closes so i was wondering if anyone could help me with my problem

How did you try to "enter the Registry Editor"?

Uninstall iTunes and see if the CD drive is as before.

Also, make sure you are using the latest iTunes when you do install it, and what is your operating system?
