Default Copied DVD's

sponsored links

I have a Pioneer 4x DVD-R (105 or sth) and I have found copying DVD's relatively easy. But when my Dads mate showed me the DVD's he had for sale I was shocked. Masses of DVD's that arent even out yet, that come with covers, and prints on the DVD's themselves. I havent tested one yet, but have these been done professionally? Surely DVD-5's like what I burn on are going to lose quality on films like Kill Bill for example.

Sliding doors is the only DVD-5 I've ever found, and although the rest of the dvd's ive done havent lost quality, i had to get rid of extras and menu's, + a bit of compression sometimes.

Anyone know about this mass production?

Sounds like Asian Silvers .... these are pressed in Factories in the Far East and are often 7-8gb DVD9's.
The quality is good on some and poor on others ..... luck of the draw ..... some are taken from DVD screeners etc. and usually come with disks printed like originals, in cases, with glossy covers.

Yup, luck of the draw on those. You might end up with one that was shot in a theater with a handycam.
