Default audio problems

i have an avi
i want to use tmpgenc to convert it so i can burn it as a vcd
i need to rip the audio with virtualdub
any specific settings
??

I don't recall needing to rip the audio to convert in tmpgenc.
But if you do need to rip the audio with virtualdub, you do not need any special settings. Just click on the Save Wav... option and rip the audio.
