Default looking for a good capture program

Im looking for a good capture program for my video capture card, the software that came with it wont capture in vcd format, and I tried using a few other programs and all they wanna do is capture in avi, so what I need is a good mpeg1 capture program.

I like nanoDVR. This program will record mpeg files through a video input card.

Go here m8 ***********.vcdhelp.com/mjpeg.htm I usually capture using the Huffyuv codec method as this captures using the highest quality.

Best proggy I have come across for capturing ****oge is Dscaler. Great for capturing from tv or camcorder. It doesn't use any drivers, it captures straight from your tv card. It doesn't work with all tv cards but if you can get it to work with yours you will find the quality very good. Best of all it's FREEWARE software. Give it a try. You can use any CODEC you have with it, I use Divx 5, PicVideo MJPEG, HuffYuv, it can use any of them.
