Default What is the correct settings for ISO 9660 mode on Toast 5 titanium??

sponsored links

Using Toast 5 Titanium, I've been trying to burn .iso or .bin file under ISO 9660 mode.
For some reason, the discs I've been burning do not work. Here is the settings I'm using:

Format: CD Rom XA
Naming: Allow MS-DOS names
Append Version Number: Unchecked
Use apple extensions: Checked

Is there something wrong with my settings?

To be more specific, I'm trying to burn a playstation game I downloaded. So did you mean that burning it under Disk Image mode is proper way to go rather than burning it under ISO 9660 mode?

If you are trying to burn a .bin or a.iso you must select disk image for it to work.

I have burned .bin by selecting disk image and dragging the file onto toast.
Did tekken 4 and spiderman that way it worked fine

For iso that are made from a pc I have never ran into those but in toast 5 you can burn them without converting them (at least that is what I hear.)

I only use iso 9660 when I want to burn files that can be read on a PC and mac

Hope that helps

When I drag .iso file into Disk Image window, it doesn't recognize the file. The game is Final Fantasy Tactics. I burned it anyway, and my mac doesn't recognize the disc. Please explain how to burn .iso file using Toast or NeroMax.

if they are in iso format for the pc you can convert them
you can use Maclink plus
and change creator and type (they will be options in the pull down menu)

Type to: Iimg (should orginally be text)
and
Creator to : CDr3 (should orginally be dosa)

once you have converted to this then toast will recognize it

Then you can just double click it and it will automatically send it to toast in the disk image format
