Question HELP! I want to buy a PC. But I dont know where to start!

sponsored links

Hi I really want to get into some pc game like half-life etc, but I have never really had a computer that could handle that kind of game.

can any one recommed a PC. something that costs sub 500. that would be good for gaming. and with decent memory 150Gb minimum - or will i need to save up more money? that i can buy in the UK (online or in a shop) i dont mind if its a custom built one.

P.S, i dont need a moniter just yet. or any programmes or small extras.

thanks, shaz

As i have just made one up forsomeone that is a 2.8Gb intell CPU, 1GB mem, 17" LCD monitor, 160GB HDD, + case etc etc.

All for just under 400 all components obtained from my local computer fair.
