Did you place the cartridge or just refill it?

hi sounds to me if you put the cart in right there something in the set up
on the printer that you need to tell the printer new carts are installed
but the other reason could be that cannon the crafty shites have put
a counter timer on your printer as most of them do
where you can do so many prints and so many cleans before it needs
servicing by them
which happens a lot with cannon crap.
other then that check your printer software and the carts heads
which might be knackered

The Canon BJC 2000 does not have a timer (non of the Canons Bubble Jets do) nor do you need to tell the printer that a new cart is installed....The print head is probable just worn out or clogged, clean it or get a new one.
