Decrypt Blu-ray Avatar movie in a smart way

Since the emergence of WD TV Player, it has taken the fancy of public. As it well known, WD TV produced by Western Digital is a media player that plays audio, video and image files from connected USB devices on your TV in HD resolutions, including 720P, 1080i and 1080P. Even you can connect external storage like hard disc, portable devices, camcorders and etc. Nothing is much better than watching high definition movies via it with your families! Nevertheless, with such a multi-functional player, why there are still some complaints and hurdles received from users? It turned out to be that those users meet the video or audio problems. They complained that some rare video formats like Blu-Ray clips and ISO/IFO files can not be supported by WD TV. Take it easy, this article is aimed to tell how to decrypt Blu-ray movie Avatar, a highly-praised Blu-ray movie, and share with it via various players.

Before discovering the truth, we should be familiar with the supported format of WD TV as below:
Video - MPEG1/2/4, WMV9, AVI (MPEG4, Xvid, AVC), H.264, MKV, MOV (MPEG4, H.264),
Music - MP3, WMA, OGG, WAV/PCM/LPCM, AAC, FLAC, Dolby Digital, AIF/AIFF, MKA
Playlist - PLS, M3U, WPL
Subtitles - SRT (UTF-8 + some other character encodings), SMI, SUB, ***, SSA
Supported file systems: FAT32, NTFS, HFS+ (no journaling)

Next, how to convert Avatar, the popular Blu-ray movie to WD TV?
Aunsoft Blu-Ray Ripper does very well in decrypting and ripping DVD and Blu-Ray movies, BD+, protected or not, to other general formats like AVI, MPG, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, WMV, H.264, MKV, MOV, FLV, 3GP, AC3, MP3, ACC, OGG, etc for replay on various media players, including Apple TV, iPad, iPhone, PS3, Popcorn Hour, Google Nexus One, WD TV, Youtube and on the go.

Preparation: Download and install Aunsoft Blu-Ray Ripper for Mac
Step One: Load Blu-ray Disc or movies
To meet your requirements, you are allowed to import Blu-ray Disc or movies through two ways: "DVD Folder" and "IFO/ISO". If you have bunches files, you can also load them at a time. Also, you can click "Merge into one file" on the main interface so as to combine multiple files for the conversion.

Step Two: Choose output format and destination folder
Using pull-down menu of "Format", you can select your desirable video format as the output one.
Here you can choose "MKV (Matroska) Video (.mkv)" supported by WD TV. Next, click "Browse" button to specify the destination folder.

Step Three: Advanced settings (TrueHD audio)
Click "Settings" button, a new window of "Profile" will pop up. On this interface, there are many choices allowing users to set freely for more satisfactory parameters. Here, 5.1 Channel Surround sound will be highlighted. You guys can choose "6" from the drop-down list of 'Channels' to realize the 5.1 Channel Surround sound.

Step Four: Conversion

Hit "Convert" button to initiate the ripping process.
The running process will be finished in a few minutes. After that, you can drag the converted files to your USB device or HDMI and then connect it to your WD TV HD Media Player for enjoying.
