Convert AVCHD MTSM2TS to iPad to Enjoy Camcorder Video

If you are wondering how you might be able to sync your recorded videos with your AVCHD camcorder to iPad so that you can enjoy your videos where you go. [b]PART I: Save MTS/M2TS files to PC[/b]

You can simply connect your AVCHD camcorder to your PC via the USB cable. The camcorder will be recognized as a hard-drive. Itís then a simple process to download your video.

PART II: [b]Converting MTS to iPad format[/b]

After you successful save your mts files to your PC, itís time to convert your videos to iPad supported video format-mp4! Check the instruction below for converting mts files to mp4 format.

Step 1: Load MTS/M2TS files to MTS Converter
Load your MTS/M2TS files to the program by clicking "Add" button in the menu bar.

Step 2: Edit MTS/M2TS files
"Editor" button in the menu bar supports special editing functions, like cropping, trimming, adding text/video/image watermarks, replacing audio, removing interlaces and so on. So with the converter tool, you are allowed to add your personal watermark for protecting your own recordings when sharing the videos in web.

Step 3: Choose MP4 as output format.
Click Format drop-down list, you can see different choices of video & audio format according to different catalogues such as Common Video, Common Audio, iPod, Apple TV, PSP/PS3, etc. In this case, there are three iPad profiles for you to choose.

Step 4: Convert [b]MTS to iPad[/b]
Click "Convert" button to start converting mts/m2ts files to iPad format. Few minutes later, you can get your output videos in destination folder.

[b]PART III: Sync MP4 to iPad[/b]

Step 1: Add output videos to iTunes
Choose File > Add File to Library from the menu bar of iTunes, and then you can select the generated videos from the output folder. Thus the files will be added to iTunes within a blink of an eye.

Step 2: Connect iPad to computer
Use the Apple USB dock connecter which is available in the box after you purchased iPad to connect your iPad to your computer. When it is successfully connected, the iPad logo will appear on iTunes.

Step 3: Sync videos to iPad
Drag the files from the iTunes library to the iPad logo on iTunes, and the mouse pointer will change to an Add sign "+". Release the mouse and the videos will be transferred to iPad.

Then you can enjoy your recordings on your iPad wherever you go. Have fun!

* H.264 video up to 720p, 30 frames per second, Main Profile level 3.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;

* MPEG-4 video, up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats;

* Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format

* Support for 1024 by 768 pixels with Dock Connector to VGA Adapter; 576p and 480p with Apple Component AV Cable; 576i and 480i with Apple Composite AV Cable
