Default RGB on PSone - Please read in!!! :(

sponsored links

It is a brand new PAL model 102. I got a RGB cable (checked it - rgb all wired) plugged in and turned on. After looking at the pic on the screen i thought i looked a bit fuzzy like composite(The TV is definatly RGB compatible)

So i opened scart lead and disconnected the composit pin and tried again and no picture, thus it wasn't outputing in RGB?

How do i get my psone to output rgb?

I have seen a couple of "RGB-fixes" for the PSone as apperently the first European models needed it to output rgb, but if ur model didnt have the two points on the board you didnt need it, and my board doesnt have them.

The one idea I have (which would make me look stupid...) is that is isnt in RGB but I dont have any game in when trying it(all my games are backups and modchip hasnt arrived yet) Does anyone know it the PSone just changes to RGB when a game loads?

Thanks for readin! - Any ideas appreciated
