From my limited understanding of the brand, Opterite is an emerging American brand that's well priced, and they seem to make a pretty good quality product.

Try to make sure that DMA is enabled. The Nero Info Tool will tell you.

As far as INCD is concerned, it's just packet writing software and is not vital. I have found it problematic and don't use nor require it.

All you can really do is contact Opterite if it's under warranty (Just keep persisting if they ignore you), or get someone to try another burner in your machine and test your burner in theirs.

Default Similar Problem


I have a very simliar problem with Nero.
Data cds burn fine, however as soon as i tried to burn an audio cd the process reached 5%, used read buffer reached 100%, and it sits like that for ever, i have to restart comp every time just to get drive unbusy, ending task wont work.

please help,
