Default How to patch Mike Tyson to NTSC and make it boot all the time.

sponsored links
This is for pal2ntsc people. Pal people only need to patch the game with the adr_patcher and that will work for you.

Here it is for NTSC:

1)Get you hands on the adr_patcher, the NTSCONV pal2ntsc/ntsc2pal converter ( DOS version ), the ppf-o-matic tool and make sure that you also have the pdx-mtpn.ppf kalisto P/N selector ppf patch.

ntsconv.exe and adr_patchercan be found @

www.ps2o w n z .com under tools link

or at

2) Extract all these files and tools into same directory with the bin/cue files included (make this folder on the c:\ directory and name it some thing short like mike so that when you open the DOS window it's easier to get to).

3) Open DOS window and cd to the c:\mike directory.

4) Type: dir and make sure that the ntsconv.exe and the kal-mthb.bin (mike tyson pdx rip) are both in the folder.

5)Now type:

ntsconv -n pdx-mthb.bin and then hit enter.

6)Once that is done close the DOS window and go to the mike folder and click on the adr_patcher and apply it with generic patch selected. It should find 4 location to apply patch to. Click on yes.

7)After the adr-patch is done close it and open the ppf-o-matic select the pdx-mtpn.ppf file using the drop down. Then select the pdx-mthb.bin using the iso drop-down and apply.

8)Open cdrwin or whatever program you use to burn bin/cue files. Set it to 6x speed and burn away.

Ea boot method, Neokey and all other boot methods now should work without a glitch.

No-solder will not boot this game because it's to big. But if you have it comboed with a Neokey then you're home free.

If the game freezes on the P/N selector and the game intro hit the start button until you get to the game menu.

There is a centering option for this game in the menu.

Have fun peole and no need to thank me. Just giving back a little so that you don't break your head trying to boot this game the hard way.

Yes you can add this to your page.

Some ppl say it's not good.

Knockout kings II is better but this game does hold it's ground.
