Default kill pokemon.exe virus

hiya

i have got a virus called kill pokemon.exe

norton has deleted sum files but has still left the .exe file behind which cant be deleted cos it says that access is denied as source file may be in use!!

help how do i get rid of this

Hmmm,

Try booting into DOS if you are using Win9x and deleting it from there. Also, you could try to delete it from Safe Mode. Never heard of this virus, but I will look around and see if I can get you any better info.

Try the norton site for a removal tool, im not sure if they have released one, but they may soon. And yeah, use DOS to delete it.

try norton on safe mode
hold ctrl at start
