A good network administrator can see and record what ever he wants to concerning your actions. I work for the Fed Govt and I know the Info Mgt Officer for my sector and he has told me that they have the software to track every single movemement you make, ever page, every keystroke....if they want to. Much of the time this becomes to cumbersome, but if they want to get someone for misuses, then they can target your computer and create a log of everything you do...EVERYTHING. Bottom line, don't do anything at work that you might regret down the road....words of advice

That is all true, unless you know the system inside out (you are a technician/administrator) you will have no idea what is being recorded about you.

However, i'm pretty sure that these practices are illegal unless you have signed a usage document which states that the company may want to record these details. However my knowledge of the data protection / privacy laws are fairly vague, and they are being adjusted all the time.

If you want to tell what they can see, goto www.eeye.com and download IRIS. It is a network packet sniffer and will tell you all the info they can see. Most admins can probably see more.
