Default Want to set up a wireless network

sponsored links

Hey, am looking into setting up a wireless network, however im after a range of about 2 miles in a single direction! The idea is to network my computer with a friends who lives around 2 miles away, if i was to buy the right equipment, and an expensive antenna for both ends, would there be any chance of network the 2 computers?!?

Plz e-mail me asap if you have any links to manufacturers that would be able to help me out, or if you know anything about this.

Many thanks,

Stuart.

Take a look here:

But seriously, your budget won't get you anywhere with this.

I was looking at buffalo products, it'd cost about 300 for 2x Buffalo air station pro's, then there would be the cost of the 2 directional antennas on top of that. They have a range of about 2 miles apparently, and i've got a map out and its 1.7 miles between me and my mates house. I will only get speeds of 2mb/sec, but that is fine.
