Default New Messiahs Being Released Soon! Messiah W/ Clip. Messiah Only 2 Wires To Connect!

MESSIAH'S W/ CLIPS BEING PRODICED AND MESSIAHS W/ ONLY 2 CONNECTIONS TO BE INSTALLED BEING PRODUCED!

From China-messiah.com

we would like to provide information of the Messiah 'clip' developments. These clips have been designed to reduce installation time and tedious wiring, the first clip version is complete by our good friends of www.neoasic.com, and shortly the full completed design will be released in July.

The preliminary clip design uses a simple bios-clip option, this reduces wiring count to only 11 wires as all bios connections / power / GND are now dealt with by the clip.

The following pictures show the current developments, and you may find that some suppliers will provide you with options of having Messiah with this version of clip

The above clip is an 'add-on' option for current Messiah PCB's, but shortly Messiah's will be available with the additional connector hard manufactured direct to the PCB.

The development of the clip continues to also include the remaining 9 connections for consoles that use the TQ type cd / dvd controller chip, this as many of you know is a difficult installation in the PAL V3 / V4 console (unless you use alt. points), and also will therefore be the same in the shortly released USA Messiah, aiding installation in V1, V2, V3 and V4 versions.

The following picture indicates the intended design:

This completed version will allow installation of Messiah into V1, V2, V3, V4 and V5 version consoles with only two wires required to be connected, this version of Messiah known as QF (quick-fit).
Installation time is estimated to be less than 10 minutes.

Sounds very good, BUT.... I'd just like to point out that when the Neo4 was released with the same type of Bios clip it had nothing but problems and a lot of people ended up with dead PS2's. If they can resolve the clip issue then it would be a great thing to happen..
