Default Can't Connect to Dial Up

sponsored links

Hello, my sister rought her computer to my house while she moved and she hooked it up to my high speed. When we brought it to her house, she's unable to connect to dialup. She won't have cable for another couple weeks and she just needs to be able to check her email. When trying to connect to NetZero, it comes back with an error 720. I've tried all the things it says to try to be able to connect. I don't know if it's because she had cable before and some settings I can't find need to be changed.

Any help is appreciated

Not come acros this one before, but first make sure that anything that was installed to get the connection at your house is uninstalled.

Also delete any connections that are in the Network Connections section (control panel).

Then try running the Network wizzard.

First make sure that the drivers are installed correctly for the modem she will be using.

colin.
