Default RAM [; ; winME]

I have a stick of ram from my PC2700 computer which is 512mb.

If I put it in my old machine which is PC100, will everything be alright? I mean I know if it does work it'll run at the slowest bus speed, but will I see an upgrade by using it??

Thanks

You can't put PC2700, which is DDR memory, in an PC100/133 (which is SDRAM) slot. The notches won't let you and it won't work.

For future reference, don't rely on anyone's opinion who is trying to sell you something. They very rarely have any knowledge of what they are selling and are only in it for the money. They will tell you just about anything just to get the sale.
