Default 106 driver

2 weeks ago i bought a dvd righter a pioneer 106 not to know that there
is no no driver for it and now i cant get any of my progreams to reccoginze
that there is a dvd righter there. can any one give any help at all i have speant hour's on the net and cant get any where at all and dose it need driver all or am i doing something wrong
