OK, now we're getting somewhere.....
I think the message "Error: Invalid CUE SHEET command at line 1
Illegal cue sheet command syntax" indicates that the cue doesn't point to the bin.
Some cue files have a path to the game file which will only work for the person who created the bin/cue (or for someone who happens to have the bin file in the same directory as them).

You need to edit the cue file in notepad, take out the path, then save it and it should work.

Example of incorrect cue line:-

Example of correct cue line:-

Right click the cue file, open with Notepad and copy/paste the contents in here so we can see it.

On another note, make sure you start with the first RAR file in the sequence:-
eg, if you have files .001-.050, you need to UnRAR file .001 (the rest will follow automatically)

If you're still stuck, post the exact names of the files you have.

Also, you can get more patches at (but they're not related to the problem you're having).

Ok, I've looked for the .cue file and it doesn't come up in the files when I winRAR the game files. they just sit in the folder I made but I will look some more...

There are a few games I've D/L ed but the ones I've got now I think are incomplete... I will get back to this when I come back on-line later, but it does make since about the .cue command sheet now. Thanks for clearning that up. The note book thing is a little over my head at this point so I'll look into it. Thanks and I'll be back.

If anyone has any more input please, please leave it here on this subject. As it looks right now alot of us need the help... later..... CFizz

The .cue from the game reads this way...

TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

The .bin will not open to read it... but it's the .cue that I need anyway.

I was told to create a new .cue file like this:

TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00

and fill it in as needed but I have no clue as what to do. Also how do you put it in the game files once it's recreated??

thanks again and I hope this is what you need..... CFizz

There seems to be an extra line their in the created .cue ... the FLAGS DCP line... is that the problem? Do I need that in the game file?

I dropped the new .cue into the D/L files folder and can see the cue there before I winRAR the files. After the winRAR of the files into a folder on my desktop all the files are there with the new .cue but when I try to load the .cue again into CDRwin the same error comes up.

I will continue to try different things until you respond. Thanks and I'll be watching and waiting..... later.......

The game 'No one lives forever' is another that I've had problems with also... I can't get the .cue to load. It's there but you can't see it until you read the file from the winRAR. Thanks for the help......
