Default Neo4 and green screen with Scart??

sponsored links

I have a problem which isn't that bad as i have both the RGB cable and the scart one, but it can be a bit of pain at times...

Well, at some games (even original ones) I have noticed that the screen is green when i'm using the scart, and normal colored when i use the rgb cable..

The weird thing is i have a Pal system (bought in england) and I tried an original game today (WRC3 PAL) and it was green too!!!!!

I wonder what this problem is, as I have 3 tvs at home, 2 of them are new but cheaper than the old one which is a Philips matchline from 1994!! The old TV plays them just fine (no green stuff whatsoever) and the other 2 tvs play some of the games in green, unless i use the other cable..!

Any ideas?? Why does this happen with a PAL system, using a PAL game on a (well you guessed it) PAL TV...????

Go into your Configuration settings on your PS2 and check that your Display type is RGB and not that CY/By or whatever it is.. Sounds like thats your problem.

Oh, by the way.. The cable that came with the PS2 isn't RGB, its just a plain old A/V cable, thats why they aren't green using that cable as its just a composite video image and not RGB.
