Unhappy How can undo what I did?

sponsored links
I follow this guide right here and it worked. (the guide is about how to fake SVCD into VCD so that DVDs that only plays VCD and not SVCD will play them).
I'm not sure, but I don't see any help for this, so I made
this little help message.

(1) Use DVD2SVCD as normal, except don't make CD images.
(Select "don't make image" in CD Image tab)

(2) You will have 2-3 .mpg files like: bbMPEG_Muxed_File.mpg
Use all theses files with TMPGEnc to convert it.

In TMPGEnc select: "File" -> "MPEG Tools..." ->
"Simple Multiplex"

In "Type:" select: "MPEG-1 Video-CD"

In "Video Input:" select: bbMPEG_Muxed_File.mpg
(your files names)

You can change the name of your files if you want in

When you enter files in the "Video Input:" area,
TMPGEnc change the "Type:" to "MPEG-2 Program (VBR)"
Re-enter "MPEG-1 Video-CD" or it's useless !!!

Click "RUN" And wait about 3-6 minutes for each files
to be Muxed as "Fake" MPEG-1 video.

Don't panic, the Exact quality of the bbMPEG muxed file
Will remain untouch. We are doing this to make Home DVD
Players to "think" it's a VCD...
Sort of an SVCD in disguise!!! LOL !!!

(3) Take all the newly make .mpg files to a VCD Maker of your
Choice. I use VCDEasy but Nero, VCDImager and VCDXBuild
work too...

(4) It's done, Watch your SVCDs now on Big TV !!!

Lot of my friends was disapointed when they find out that their
DVD only read VCD or XVCD. Now, It's OK for all of them!!!
The problem is that the final product does play on DVDs that only plays VCD, but on ones that also plays SVCD it won't work. Plus they also won't play in the computer, (atleast I haven't figure out how to make it play on my computer with window media player). I want to revers the process so that I would have the SVCD MPGE2 files so that my friends player (which plays VCD and SVCD) would play them. Sorry for the long post but there's no way to explain it. Thanks in advance.

What this process does is puts a VCD header onto the SVCD file. To reverse it just do the process again but when you multiplex the file choose MPEG2 instead of MPEG1. If you don't have the MPG file anymore you need to copy the dat file from the VCD, and convert it to MPG.
