Default another windows 2000 install question

If i have windows 98 on a computer and upgrade to windows 2000, would it by any chance give me the option to do a clean install and change to NTFS?

It's been a millennium since I've done an upgrade, but if I remember correctly it would. I just as soon do a wipe and reinstall by booting from the CD and deleting the partition though. Ooops, same difference.

well...you can convert to NTFS and upgrade
that's the option u can do, or format without upgrading, meaning, wiping everything off that partition/harddrive and doing a clean install of w2k

Hi noamkrief

Yes you do get the option to do a clean install and you do get the option to format to NTFS.......just watch out for the f6 option to include aditional drivers for you HD controllers

BTW I have played with most MSs OSs and I believe that win2k is the most secure.

BTW2 I have just read and responded to another of your posts concerning win2k. I am refering to win2k proffesional but I assume the server version is the same.
