karaoke discs come in 3 flavours.

1) CDG=same discs as played in your local pub. You'll need either a karaoke CDG playing machine or if u wanna use your PC, you'll need CDG playing software + a CDG format CD Drive in your computer.

2) VCD=playable on a PC without spe******t software or on a VCD compatable standalone DVD player.

3) MP3=compact way of storing lots of songs. Playable with the right software on your PC (CDG format CD Drive not necessary). Capable of being converted using the right software into either of the 2 above types.

Many suppliers, I would recommend Davenport.

MP3= MP3+G, actually a pair of files. The MP3 contains the audio, like any MP3 and the .cdg file contains the graphics.
