Default Is it possible 2 upgrade CPU on a Laptop?

sponsored links

I have a friend who has a Dell Latitude CP, and its a Pentium II 233MHz. Obviously I can upgrade the RAM, but It would be nice to at least get another 100MHz, so I wondered whether its possible to replace the chip.

Any Ideas?

Possible but not worth it. (impossible if you're a novice)

you'd be better of buying a whole new system.

not worth it as most cpus on notebooks are solderd straight on to the mother board plus have you ever tried taking one apart! not easy invest in a new laptop
