Default VGA Box - help please!!!

sponsored links
Ive got a crappy VGA box and im having problems.

When i plug the DC into the vga box and my monitor (a rylsis 770), about every 20 seconds the screen goes black for 2 seconds (very annoying) - this happens even on the dc audio, vma ect screens as well as vga sorted games.

Is there any way to sort this?

Ive got the utopia 1.2 patched boot disc and this does not work at all with the vga box (it works with normal scart lead & telly)

Help would be appreciated as at the moment it looks like ive wasted 20 quid and about 6 hours farting around getting the boot disc 1.2!!

I have a shite vga box (lectronic boutique one) for the DC as well. I have to mess about with the monitor lead as it connects into the box. It seems as pushing it in too far and i dont get a picture, or pushing it in not far enough also gives different problems.

The best thing I have found is to find the correct position for the lead and then to place it somewhere where it wont move

Cheers for that mate, i dont think thats the problem with mine, as the black screen is too regular, once every 20 seconds or so, i think it would be all or nothing
