Cool burning speeds with nero

sponsored links

I have been burning audio cds and vcds with nero no problem.

I read somewhere in an idiots guide to burning VCDs that it was best to burn at 4x speed and no faster if you wanted to watch the VCD in a stand alone DVD player.

It seems a waste of time when my burner is capable of 8x and 16x burning. How true is it? Will they not play in a DVD player if I up the speed.

I don't have a stand alone DVD player so I cannot experiment with the speeds.

if your burner can burn at 16x then do it. I burn mines at 16x with no problems. Have a TDK.

Thanx Richdawg, but the question was really will they still play in a stand alone DVD player. I don't want to burn at 16x and trade with others to find that I get complaints from 'customers' that they can't play them.

Do yours play in a DVD player?
