Default easy cd 5.3234 at startup

sponsored links

I'm trying to get rid of easycd loading up on startup. The only way I can do it is by manually going into taskbar properties and ending the task. i want to be able to never to load on startup ever again. But it seems I can't. My STARTUP folder is empty and the easycd taskbar tray icon isn't visible. If it was I would be able to fix this problem.

What are you using? Win98? WinME? WinXP? If it is any of those, just go to Start - Run and type MSCONFIG. Then click the Startup tab and look for Adaptec or EZCD... Uncheck it and then reboot. That should do it.

Default win 2000

I'm using windows 2000 pro. I tried doing that RUN > msconfig but it gives the message

Can't find file. Make sure the path and filename are correct...etc
