Default CD rewriter burning problem [Compaq; Presario 7000; winME]

I can't burn my mp3's. The CD-rewriter works but everytime I burn a mp3 CD all the .cda files comeout with static noises. Please help.

What burning software are you using?. What bitrate are the MP3s encoded at?, Do the MP3 files work ok if you play them on your PC?.

mp3 works on the computer, the bitrate is 128, and the software I am using is CDR-win.
