Default system restore other than ghost?

hi, can someone recommend a reliable backup program? ive just tried ghost and ended up with a load of coasters

You could try PowerQuest Drive Image. I use it all the time to backup my system or for transfering one hdd to another.

Ghost has a really good help file and an interactive tutorial.

It really doesn't get much simpler than that.

drive image screwed me up by hiding the partitions!!! if any one can help me find a way to unhide it without formating?
