Default is this cable for usb 2.0 ONLY

sponsored links

i have a usb hard drive
its a pockey hard drive
usb 2.0 compliant
my pc does have a usb 2.0 card, pci card, but i am not using that with this hard drive, that is another story in itself and was not able to get that working

any how i have questions on the cable that came with this pockey hard drive

the little mini usb cable, is this ONLY for usb 2.0 or is it compatible with both
i know probably a stupid question
but i am having issues getting it to work and wanted to rule that out

thanks in advance

Where is your Pocky manufactured ?
The USB 2.0 is backward compatiable with 1.1

The other thing you have to watchout for, is some earlier VIA chipsets not able to transfer large chunks of data, it would simply hang the machine, and so far, there are no fixes that I know of.
