Default "network cable is not connected" ????

sponsored links

I'm getting this message when I try to set up my Windows XP system with my DSL modem.

Any idea what I should do to fix this?

I've got an Actiontec modem / Pac Bell DSL Service & I can't seem to get it to work together.

What should I do???

Thanks in advance,

Well, start by checking the obvious. I'm assuming the cables are actually plugged in...right?

Otherwise verify that the network cable isn't defective, or you might need to use a cross-over cable instead of a straight through cable (or vice versa).
