Question ==>Would this video card work on my pc for gaming???

sponsored links

Thinking about getting this video card for my little brother pc...

His computer lags when playing counter strike, hitman 2, or age of mythology...

Spec of pc:
PII or PIII 450mhz 384MB of SDRM RAM Windows XP pro

Video Card I'm thinking about buying:
Geforce III 64MB (Nvidia or PNY not sure), it's the one at CompUSA for $99

Any better video card at same price?

DUDE! for videocards you gotta go to www.pricewatch.com

You can get a GeForce3 64MB for $64.
But I'm thinkin, your willing to pay $100, so go with GeForceFX, $79, or something better. I love buyin video cards. To me when I buy a top of the line video card, it like buying a brand new game console, just i do it more often and the graphics are kick ---.

be careful m8. The geforce 3 cards are agp 4x I think. Looking at your specs of mobo you intend to fit it on they are probably gonna be 1x or 2x (your manual should tell you - if not try the manufacturer website). What this means is that your mobo AGP is 3.3v and the geforce3 runs at 1.5v. If you fit it you will either fry one or both components. check this out ***********.cdrom-guide.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=244055
