Default Help!! PC keeps shutting down?

hi

my son installed call of duty on his newish pc today, it kept crashing and then restarting,but now it just switches off during gameplay and it wont turn on for a good 5 to 10 minutes[its like its not plugged in].
i've uninstalled call of duty and installed cm03/04 and exactly the same thing keeps happening.
any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like your over heating, Check the temp in bios. Check your fans and make sure heatsink is seated correctly.

If you weren't having this Shutting down problem prior to the installation of the new software you may have deleted shared fileswhen you uninstalled the software.
Also you did use the word "uninstalled"....did you uninstall using Windows Control Panel ?

It is possible when you uninstalled the program you deleted share files by mistake......most times it is best to leave the shared file on your hdd !

If you can; open MY Computer and check for problems there ?

cpu temp 61c/141f
m/b temp 40c/104f
cpu fan speed 3820rpm
chassis fan speed n/a
Vcore 1.609v
+3.30v 3.307
+5.00v 5.001
+12.00v 12.645v

is this ok?

for idle, the cpu temp is hot. Check the fan and heatsink, may need to add some artic silver 3 thermal compound.

what is the CPU? intel or amd? regardless 141f at idle is high. does the system have a case fan? I notice the chassis fan is N/A
