Just a quick one guys, can anyone lmk the command for running msconfig (its equivelant) in Windows ME

Just type "msconfig" in the Run box and it will appear.

Moving to Open...

Hmm, it was for a friend and thats exactly what i told him to do although he said that didnt work, i did read somewhere that WinME uses a differant command to MSCONFIG ??

looks like ill have to go round and check his machine myself!!

no its just the same msconfig in the run box
however you can take the long way round
start>programs>accsessories>system tools>system information .once this is loaded choose tools from top menu then its system configuration utility.

Either "msconfig" or "msconfig.exe" work just fine in Me.

Or you can get to it from the tab in System Information.
