Default HD changed from 13 to 4 gig!!!

Had 2 format my hard drive cos of a couple of virii, but afta a lot of pissin about my hard drive is now 3.81 gig instead of the usual 12.1. Does any1 know wot the hell is goin on??? Im out of ideas...

have you checked youve allocated the full space on your hd to windows, I had this problem when I formated once only 2 gig from a 10 gig drive, to check you allocated it all run ms dos (true dos) not windows dos and type f disk or you can use something like partition magic

uk_trader is right. Check and make sure you create a partition that encompasses the full drive. Gotta run, or I would post more detailed instructions. I am going to move this to Open All Topics for you though. You will probably get a lot of great suggestions over there.

Yes use fdisk and partition your hdd right..cheers.

When you run FDISK make sure you enable "large disk support". Make sure that 100% is used on the partition and that the partition is active.
