The xtender chip actually disables the onboard (xbox) bios and uses all its own code.

The enigmah chip only patches certain parts of the bios (copy protection code etc).

The engimah is easier to install ie quicker (not technically).

BOTh chips have the same features.

ooooops, apologies. All these E's get me baffled.

x-ecuter has a few advantages oner the enigmah and only 1 disadvantage.

ok advantages functionally are:

Chip has the HD patch. Allows you to put a larger HD in the xbox.

Reset/Eject Trick. Essential if you want to use xbox media player or DVDX.2. Without this when you insert the media to play, the Xbox will just reset. So you will go around in a continual loop!

Enigmah has 29 wires to solder the x-ecuter has only 9 solder points and 1 wire, no need to remove the mobo neither to install X-ecuter.

Ok there is one disadvantage with x-ecuter that being you cannot flash the onboard xbox bios with this chip fitted as its an LPC mod. The same goes for any LPC type mod.

Hope that helps.

Okay, is the Executer and Extnder both same or different chips and bios???

Also, which one is better ( Executer/Extender or Matrix with Evox 2.5)???

The difference between those???

Please explain because I am going to buy one and can't decide.
