Default nVidia & Direct X 9 [; ; win2KPro]

i am running win2k SP3 and i have directx 9 installed. my video cards are a ge force 2 MX 400 4X AGP with 64 MB ram, and an ATI all in wonder 128 PCI with 16 MB ram

since i installed directx 9, my geforce 2 hasnt been recognized as a 3d card in need for speed porsche unleashed 3d setup

i also downloaded and installed the latest nvidia drivers, but it still is not recogned and tried it again, still not recognized

is what im experiencing a problem with the game not recognizing the 3d card, or is it windows

It's to do with directx9 being installed you will have to reinstall windows as i have heard uninstalling directx 9 is a bit of a btch

Pretty sure that the XP DX9 uninstaller works with win2k.

IMO, until a game or app comes out that actually requires DirectX9 there really should be no rush to install it. By the time games require it, updated drivers should be available for most video cards.
