Default YAMAHA CD-RW 8x4x24 failed in Win 98 2nd Edition

sponsored links

I have the problems with using External YAMAHA CD-RW 8x4x24 in Win 98 2nd Edition. I have connected the cable from CD-RW to printer port of the computer, and everything was on. However, the CD-RW was not function/working at all although the lights (red colour) were on.

I have tried it with using another PC (Win 98 2nd EDT), and the result was same.

Therefore I want to know, is it Win 98 2nd Edition not support that version of CD-RW?
