Default divx to mpeg 2 ?

sponsored links

Is it possible to convert divx to mpeg 2?. I have a few movies in divx, and would like to watch them on my dvd player. Can anyone suggest a encoder or software to do this?.

Thanks

I would recommend CCE over TMPGEnc if you have it.

Default Divx to mpeg 2 using cce

Hi,

I normally use CCE, but how do I create a d2v file and avs script to get CCE to recognise a avi file, dvd2avi wont acknowledge my divx file.

U should only use DVD2AVI if u have a svcd mpg file or if u have ripped a DVD movie. To convert an avi file, first u will need all codecs installed, so each type of audio and video is supported. I reccomend aces codec pro pack from www.divx-digest.com. All u need is to write ur avs file like this:

AVISource("C:\Saved items\6.avi") //* write the source avi here
BilinearResize(720,384) //* Resized for dvd reolution
AddBorders(0,48,0,48) //* Adds borders to keep the aspect

ratio of the avi

This is just an example of an AVS file, download avs 2.07 from www.doom9.org, with it comes reference to various filters and examples.

Hope this helps,

Tal

Default Invalid frame rate?

Tal,

Thanks for the cce script. The avi encoded very well, but when I try to import it into Spruce Up, it tells me that the m2v has a invalid frame rate. Do I have to use pulldown to sort this out. I tried to download pulldown and a gui, but the program keeps coming up with a system error even though i have installed the runtime files.

Help !!

Chrisino
