Hello,
Still confused but got this information from my Norton utilities System Information and wondered if this would help:

BIOS: HP -30303031 KAward Medallion NIOS v6.0 Award Plug and Play BIOS extension.

Processor: Genuineintel Family 6 Model 6 434 MHZ stepping 5

If this is no good can you tell me how to get the correct info which would help.

well i mean if you really dont want to risk it mobos are really cheap now a days just go to price watch and buy a combo, it would be easier and less risky

That info you posted only gives the HP bios no. The board will probably be a standard board with an HP custom bios, you need the actual motherboard maufacturers model. Try SANDRA again and click on the mainboard information icon.
