Default What's best screen size setting on TMPGenc?

sponsored links

Just wondered what screen size settings I should be using when encoding mpeg's with TMPGenc. I haven't got a widescreen tv but have been encoding to the full screen (keep aspect ratio) setting as recommended on some of the guides. Trouble is on a few of the svcd's I've produced the borders at the top and bottom of the screen have taken up a large chunk of the screen. Should I have saved to full screen instead so that I don't get the large borders?

Well you are talking about the source setting and that would depend on the source.

The black borders would also depend on the source, if the source has them then so will your output, unless you crop the sides off.
