Default Help!! Can A Laptop Dvd+r Drive Play A Dvd On A Dvd-r Disc

Just As The Question States.
Im Looking At Buying A Laptop.. I Have Alot Of Movies Recorded On Ritek Dvd-r Discs.. The Laptops Im Looking At Purchasing Have Dvd+r Burners In Them.. Will I Be Able To Play My Movies????
Any Help Would Be Awesome!

I dont see any reason why not as a DVD-Rom reads DVD-R, and theoretically the DVD Burner is going to be able to read DVD so why not DVD-R.

Does that make sense LOL
