Default Newbie guide for DVD to DVD-R here

sponsored links

After a couple of requests on another board I have put up on some
webspace an easy to follow guide to putting your DVD's onto DVD-R

Hope it is of use to some of you.

[URL=********website.lineone.net/~dr_fruitbat/index.htm]here is the site

There are 5 walk-throughs links at bottom of page

1st walk-through (this is a straight 1:1 rip of a DVD onto your hard drive ready for burning)

2nd walk-through (this is how to burn your completed files onto DVD-R)

3rd walk-through (this is for ripping movie files from a dual layer disc but small enough to fit onto our single layer blanks)

4th walk-through (this is for authoring your demuxed files ready for burning)

5th walk-through (this is for reducing the demuxed movie stream so it fits onto your blank DVD-R)

Very good tutorial. I have yet to play with Scenarist. Maybe I'll give it a try in the near future.

Thanks, I tried to make it as user friendly as possible as I remember the
hassles involved trying to get the damn things done properly when I
first started out.

I have tried loads of methods and used to use smartripper but the latest
version of dvd decrypter is the dogs cankers

I can rip & import subtitles but it is a pain getting it done right so I am
trying various methods to find the most user friendly before updating
site again.

However I have slightly updated it with some links to the software needed.

fruitbat great guides, I have been using cce&scenarist for a couple months now and they are both great apps. I don't do my rips the same as you listed but this is great for people to learn off of, I wish i seen a guide like this when I first started to use scenarist.
